BBQ’s, painted toe nails and flip flops, trips to the beach, picnics, dipping your toes in the sea, the smell of sun cream, the smell of freshly cut grass and dewy mornings, swimming pools, sitting in the sun with a good book, sangria (and shandy!), sunglasses, kissing my daughters extra freckles, watching my baby boy discover the swimming pool while squealing with delight and feeling sand between his toes for the first time. Love it!

I love summer because I hate wearing shoes. In summer fit flops rule.
And because of long afternoons spent in pub gardens with friends and lager shandy. Perfect.

I love the summer because I can go to the local park and let my 18 month old run riot without having to restrict him. My Grace bag is great for taking our picnic essentials and I can even attach my picnic blanket handle to the across body strap 🙂

I love to feel warm winds, and smell the sweet scents of summer, as I bask in a puddle of sunlight on a lovely hillside or wriggle my toes in sand on a beach. I love bug hunting with my daughter in the garden, counting the bees and stag beatles we find, eating blackberries from bushes and teasing the cats with the long grasses. Stripping off layers of clothes, and not wearing boots, lovely long drinks and ice cream sundays and reminicing of my childhood spent in rainforest canopys…..

I have done all the above.
I love summer because it means that we can spend time outdoors. This year we are having picnics, looking at wildlife, water play and allsorts.

There’s so much to love about summer that I can’t write it all down! The weather, feeling relaxed and happy, meeting friends and having “just one more” because there’s no rush to get back indooors, playing outdoors with my boy, parties and BBQs in gardens, sitting in the park/playground watching my boy having fun and making friends, wearing what I want and not having to be huddled and covered in woolies, the sunshine lighting up everything, picking fruit and veg that we’ve grown in the garden, splashing in the paddling pool, swimming outdoors, happy smiling strangers…

I love summer as the sun shines on my back decking, revealing a sparkling river with ducks and a field opposite with wild rabbits hopping freely.
I make picnics and go to the beach with my dogs, let them run free and swim in the sea.
I can wear strappy tops, and paint my toe nails a funky colour and have people see them!
Late nights and barbeques with friends late into the light nights.
Summer is THE time for beauty, friends and good times! :o)

I love summer because it gives me time to go in the garden with all 3 children to have fun, tire them out then pop them to bed, and last of all go for a lovely meal with my hubby when its still light outside 🙂 very rare but precious

I love the summer for picnics in the park, building sandcastles on the beach, Gruffalo hunting in the forest and just being able to sit in the garden and watch the kids haveing great fun outside!!

I love the summer as i grow fruit vegetables and flowers in my little garden, especially when it is hot, my tiny new frogs are jumping everywhere. Would love to win the bag its gorgeous and would be a real asset to me 🙂

I love the summer because i love spending sunny days outside with my little boy, with him splashing in his paddling pool and having lots of fun and sharing ice creams. Then in the evenings once he’s asleep, being able to relax in our garden having bbqs and a glass of wine with friends watching the sun go down. Summer is all about spending time with friends and family, having fun and relaxing. X

I love summer because of the british weather the wet the wind and the bit of sun we get ! Love the little weekends away come rain or shine and the smile on my 16 month olds sons face when we go to play in the park in the sun .

I love the summer because its when everything has woken up from the winter. The grass is lovely and green, the flowers are out. The whole outside has woken up. I also like trips to things like county shows, airshows.

I’ve two little boys and doggy to boot, we spend a lot of time outside. mainly on foot.
There’s a brolly & sun tan lotion kept in my bag, as the weather is undecided which way to go, should it be sunny or have rain fall.
No longer indoors we play outside, hide & seek, we look for treasures at the end of Rainbows & I make up games for things to do.
When summer is here I’m running around organising activities for my clan, arranging meet-ups with familly and the boys are always making new friends.
Going on day trips, to the seaside, picnics in the park, hosting barbecues, having mini holiday breaks is always a laugh.
Driving for miles on the UK motorways, getting stuck in traffic! Screaming come-on for Pete-sake we’ve hired a car & have somewhere to go.
When summer is here and its a rare hot day, I put on a skirt & show off my hairfree legs, yes it time to shave, Gonzilla has gone to bed.
But in the Summer I have the best excuse, helping the boys eating their ice-creams, hee-hee as it does taste good.

I love the summer because everyone always seems happy! We have a newborn and a toddler, so this summer is going to be very interesting.

I love the summer because I love the fact that we can play outside all day long if we want to, and have what our smallest calls “picnics” several times a day. A drink outside is a “picnic”. A snack break is a “picnic” and guess what lunch is…. 😉

Summer is great because at least the rain is warm this time of year and it’s lovely to be able to eat freshly picked strawberries from the plants in our garden.

I love the summer because there’s no school run, the days are longer, the beach is beckoning and I can stuff my lovely Mia Tui bag full of sunscreen, money for ice-cream, cold water, a book for the beach and my ipod (and a folding umbrella)! The kids have fun, I relax and it’s all good. Even in the rain!

I love the summer because we have lighter nights and mornings, so we feel safer and don’t feel as miserable. We can enjoy nature more. I also can do more walking and get plenty of exercise
